Calling for Senior Editors, Associate Editors, and Special Editions, 2024-2025

The Acoustic Ecology Review Editorial Board welcomes new members for 2024-2025. Members can expect to be assigned 2-3 papers per year for peer review. Reviews are expected to be completed within 4 weeks. Senior Editors will also be engaged to review special edition proposals, mentor Associate Editors, and assist in the strategic direction of Acoustic Ecology Review by participating in quarterly meetings with the editorial team.

Please note submissions for special editions do not guarantee acceptance. The Soundscape Editor-in-Chief (Leah Barclay) or a Senior Editor at Acoustic Ecology Review will contact guest editors within 3 weeks of submission to discuss the proposals. In some instances, guest editors will be encouraged to collaborate and combine their thematic proposals, which continues to foster dialogue and collaboration amongst WFAE affiliates and provides opportunities for Early Career Researchers.
