Update from UBC SLAIS Chapter of BCLA

Abstract

The BCLA/CLA Student Chapter at UBC's School of Library, Archival and Information Studies (SLAIS) is off to another great start this year. A new cohort of students has brought nothing but enthusiasm to the group, and with events such as library tours and our mentorship program in full swing, this year is sure to be nothing but positive.

Author Biographies

Roen F. Janyk, BCLA

Roen is the student representative for the BCLA at UBC's School of Library, Archival and Information studies program. She is currently a MLIS candidate, and also works casually as a Reference Librarian at the Gibsons & District Public Library.

Tara Stieglitz, BCLA

Tara is the Communications Pfficer and Webmaster for the UBC SLAIS BCLA chapter. She is a MLIS candidate at UBC's School of Library, Archival and Information studies.
