This is a photo essay and summary of a June 29 event to "Celebrate 100+ Years of Library Service to British Columbians" at the Vancouver Public Library. Included in the festivities were a CBC North by Northwest taping of "Lost Childhood Books" and interviews with Sarah Ellis and Christopher Kevlahan regarding the "Express Yourself" writing contest and Dave Obee regarding The Library Book: A History of Service to British Columbians. Other events included an "Everything eBook" interactive display and the launch of both the "Express Yourself" kids writing contest and the 2011 Summer Reading Club.
