BC library community responds after the Slave Lake wildfire

Abstract
The town of Slave Lake, Alberta lost its public library when a wildfire roared through the area on May 15, 2011. This article summarizes the efforts by the B.C. library community to support the Slave Lake Public Library in its rebuilding effort, by raising funds, donating books, or both.
