Open access policies on scholarly publishing in the university context

Abstract
Policies around Open Access publishing have proliferated in recent years. This article provides a short overview of the history and development of such policies, and summarizes key stakeholders' responses to them. This article is published as part of an IPC-SLAIS partnership.
