About the Journal

Much science and environmental learning happens beyond schools—in museums, learning centres, Indigenous education, and daily life. Research in these informal and culturally diverse settings draws on varied paradigms to explore how learning occurs and what counts as knowledge. This work expands how we understand education and challenges dominant views of learning, science, and nature. It helps foster more inclusive, respectful, and sustainable approaches that honour both human and non-human worlds, and the cultural diversity essential to planetary well-being.
