Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is a .doc/.docx file (not a PDF).
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
-
The text is 1.5 spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Illustrations, figures and tables must also be submitted separately in high-resolution formats (PNG, JPEG; data tables as Excel/CSV). The total size of files received should not exceed 50MB.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The text includes APA in-text citations for all relevant referenced material and includes a complete reference list on a separate page at the end of the document (no in-text citations should be in the body of the text without being included in the reference list, and vice versa).
-
No manuscripts exceeding 9,000 words will be considered for publication.
- Manuscripts should be submitted with a maximum of 6 keywords identifying the major themes or topics addressed by the text. CUJCS reserves the right to modify, add or remove keywords.
- CUJCS uses a double-blind peer review format. Please ensure all identifying information is removed from the text before submitting your manuscript.
