Résumé
Slipping Pearl explores the deep longing for places of the past. This poem depicts the yearning for a sense of home, the pearl, and questions the reationship between our past selves and experiences to our present body. The poem demands reflection of connections and motion, as the speaker forever searches and waits for their innocence of youth, which can only be reached through memory.
