The Influence of Puberty on Depression Symptoms and Altered Cortisol Secretion in Adulthood: A Literature Review

Abstract

This paper was originally written for Dr. Neil Watson and Dr. Marlene Moretti for PSYC 499; Honours Project. The assignment asked students to execute a research study and write up the results in a thesis format. For my thesis I explored the association between stress-related cortisol release, puberty, and depression. For the SLC writing contest, the literature review portion of the thesis was revised and submitted for review. The paper uses APA citation style.
