2017 was the inaugural year of the Student Learning Commons writing contest.
We had two categories in this contest: An Open Undergraduate Category and an SLC Peer Educator Category.
There were three prize winners and two honourable mentions in the Open Undergraduate category and one prize winner and two honourable mentions in the Peer category.
This journal collects all of the winning submissions and is intended to serve as the beginning of a database of model papers for strong undergraduate writing.
